Our mission is to nurture and educatethe young child while upholding the American Montessori Societyprinciples and philosophies.Westside Montessori School is a non-profit organization, andour faculty is dedicated to the development of each childspotential while maintaining and securing a beautifully preparedenvironment in which each child may grow and flourish. - Westside Montessori School was founded in Houston, Texas in the Spring of 1977 by a small group of passionate parents in the Memorial area. Their goal was to establish a parent cooperative affiliated with the American Montessori Society. We have operated as such continuously since the fall of 1977. We are very blessed to have many families and students from all around the world. Our school population reflects a wide diversity of cultures that WMS wholeheartedly embraces and values.
