Thank you for returning to our monthly series! Regular home maintenance is essential for protecting your investment, preventing costly repairs, improving energy efficiency, and ensuring your family's safety and comfort in Houston's unpredictable climate. To keep things on track, we've broken it down into bite-size portions to make tasks manageable throughout the year.

February Tasks:

  • Change or clean HVAC air filters (critical year-round in our humid climate).
  • Test sump pump if you have one, ahead of spring rains.
  • Prune dormant trees and shrubs away from the house.
  • Check foundation for cracks after any winter temperature swings.
  • Inspect roof for damage from wind or rare cold weather.
  • Deep clean indoor areas, including vents, to reduce allergens.

Stay tuned for March's installment - keep an eye on your inbox!
