Randy deepened his real estate knowledge in 1994, earning a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation and again in 2003 when he received the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. For more than 27 years, he was one of the top-selling agents for RE/MAX in the Houston area and has frequently been ranked one of the top agents in Texas. He was awarded the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 and RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award in 2001. Randy has been named the Texas Area Capital Builders Association Sales & Marketing Council's Salesperson of the Year and the Texas Association of Realtors Pinnacle Award Salesperson of the Year. He launched Barr & Associates Real Estate, LLC, in January 2019. The Galveston native has completed 11 Ironman triathlons and enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and the family ranch near Canyon Lake.
