About Me

Kimberly Doty Baker is a fifth-generation native Houstonian and fifth generation Texan. She was raised in the Garden Oaks area and attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Southwest Texas State University, majoring in Criminal Justice.

Working in her family's business, Texas Cement Products/Tex-Rite, was pivotal to her future career in real estate. The business involved manufacturing grouts and thin sets for the ceramic tile and home building industry nation-wide.

This experience afforded her knowledge in home design, construction and all aspects of running a business. An additional layer of experience was gained through a position of legal secretary to two large firms where she became informed about contractual law, meeting deadlines and the importance of meeting client's expectations.

Assisting friends and family in locating properties prior to attaining her real estate license, fueled Kim's passion for becoming a successful realtor®. Purchasing and remodeling several homes sharpened her keen eye for the potential of properties. She is patient, tenacious, very well organized and believes multi-tasking is essential in achieving success in her professional career.

Putting her client's needs above her own, Kim considers it an honor and privilege to represent a buyer or seller to the best of her ability. Being available at all times and great negotiating skills have paid great dividends for this multi-million-dollar producer. She has been the recipient of the Bronze Capper Award for the last six years.

Kim's volunteer activities include; St. James Episcopal School, Montgomery ISD, Montgomery County Women's Center, Habitat for Humanity and Gladney Center for Adoption.

When time allows, she enjoys hunting, cooking decorating, reading, entertaining and spending time with her husband and family. She raised her children in April Sound on Lake Conroe and still considers it home. Kim currently resides in The Woodlands with her husband, John.
