Houston's housing market is on fire right now! I have seen the market go through phases, ups and downs...But, this is truly remarkable. Houses are being listed one day and under contract the same, with 10 or 11 back-up offers in some cases. Inventory hasn't been this low since 13 years ago, recent reports from the Houston Association of Realtors states.
What does that mean? Well, it's definitely a seller's market. If you have been waiting to sell until the tide turns in the market, the tide has turned! It's time to sell now. Price your home competitively, and make way for multiple offers.
How does this affect buyers? This is a tricky one. It starts with....Have your ducks in a row! Get your financing in order, earnest money check in hand and be prepared to seal the deal when you find the home of your dreams. Good luck!
