As for the time it takes to sell, a quarter of Texas home sellers sold their homes in two weeks or less last year. Another quarter of sellers had their homes on the market no more than 10 weeks. At the bottom end of this scale, 6 percent of homes sat unsold for at least a year.
Two-thirds of home sellers said they would definitely use their real estate agent again or would recommend that person to others.
