Friendswood Mosquito Control Updates

Communities in the area have recently been stricken with an onslaught of mosquitos. 

In Friendswood, Galveston and Harris Counties are responsible for mosquito control.  Galveston County conducted truck-based spraying in Friendswood this past Friday and aerial spraying in the area this morning.  Residents can call their respective county to request spraying in a specific area.  The City of Friendswood has been supplementing the Counties’ spraying by contracting for mosquito spraying at City facilities, public parks and public rights of way.
