Friendswood Movies in the Park - The Karate Kid 2010 on Friday, August 5th

This Friday, August 5th at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Friendswood Rotary Club and the City of Friendswood are once again proud to present Movies in the Park. Movies are shown at the Evelyn B. Newman Amphitheater in Centennial Park, 2200 S. Friendswood Dr.

This free event will feature the 2010 remake of The Karate Kid. The feature presentation is sponsored by Allstate Exclusive Agent Joyce Tolliver.

Various concessions such as hot dogs, drinks, and fresh squeezed lemonade will be for sale at the event. Everyone is encouraged to bring their blankets, lawn chairs (theater seating also available), refreshments, dinner and/or a snack and sit back and enjoy an evening of fun and family entertainment sponsored by the Friendswood Rotary Club and the City of Friendswood Community Services Department. Gates will open at 7:30 p.m. and movies will begin at dusk.
