Wood Creek Reserve Within the City of Katy - Mark McNitt

Wood Creek Reserve Within the City of Katy

Wood Creek Reserve began in 2006 just south of Interstate 10 at F.M. 1463 and just south of downtown Katy.  The 500 acre community is within the City of Katy, TX and includes all the services the city has to offer.  A big draw for Wood Creek Reserve is the wonderful location and easy access to the Energy Corridor as well as shopping at Katy Mills Mall as well as the historic downtown Katy.

A nice list of amenities in Wood Creek Reserve including mature trees, a 100 acre park that includes sports fields, 3 pocket parks, a large lake with fountains, waterfalls, a recreation center with pool and trails that run along Buffalo Bayou.  The new Katy Main Street shopping and entertainment venue is opening in late 2010 and is accessed via Kingsland Blvd.

Well known production builders are present in Wood Creek Reserve.  Chesmar Homes, Ashton Homes as well as the Martha Stewart line of KB Homes are all present and range from $250,000 to $500,000.  In addition, there is a gated home section that features custom home builders Vanguard Homes, Statley Homes, Rockwell Homes and Stone Creek Homes and these homes range from $425,000 to over $1 million.  Many of the homes are featured on larger than average lots and are held to high design standard that most buyers will appreciate.

Wood Creek Elementary and Wood Creek Jr. High are located within this master planned community and part of the award-winning Katy Independent School District.  Wood Creek Reserve will have a few more years of building so buyers will still have an opportunity to build their dream home and start enjoying all of the wonderful amenities in this Katy community.
