Falcon Point’s Country Club is a Big Draw - Mark McNitt

Falcon Point’s Country Club is a Big Draw

Falcon Point is a golf course community in west Houston in the Katy area.  Most of the neighborhood is just west of the Grand Parkway at Bay Hill Road and south of Interstate 10 on the Ft. Bend/Harris county line.  Roughly 600 home in Falcon Point were primarily built out between 1993 and 2004 from builders such as Imperial Homes, Village Homes, Gehan Homes as well as a few custom builders.  Resale homes sell in the $150,000 to $400,000 range.

Falcon Point was built around The Club at Falcon Point, a private full service 18 hole golf course and country club giving the area a feel of a private resort.  The course is difficult with a mix of Links and US features.  The country club also offers dining, tennis and other amenities.  The community at large provides pools, parks, trails and a large “hill” that is landscaped and blocks lights and noise from the Katy Mills Mall located next door.

Falcon Point has a mature feel with large trees, bricked walls and fountains at the entrance.  Many of the homes back to the golf course.  Several gated sections as well as private cul-de-sacs offer less through traffic.  The entire community is zoned to Katy schools and Katy High School.  An attractive neighborhood for those interested for a more established feel.
