About Me

As the Associate Broker and Owner of Realty Preferred Options, Elliott Holmes understands that it's not about him; it's about how he can help his clients reach their goals. Elliott offers sellers a professional market analysis and his marketing plan How to Guarantee You Get Your Home Sold For the Highest Possible Price and buyers with a large selection of home choices that match their criteria and guidance throughout the entire buying process.

Prior to his career in residential real estate, Elliott honed his marketing skills for 22 successful years in sales. During 15 years as a senior pharmaceutical executive, he won both district, regional, and national awards for production. As a pharmaceutical sales rep, Elliott was relocated four times – an experience which allows him to relate to relocation buyers and sellers on a personal as well as professional level. “Let’s face it,” says Elliott, “outside of the usual positive things that are associated with relocation such as a job promotion or retirement, etc., relocating across the country can be a bear. I’ve learned from personal experience, and I turn my clients’ relocation experiences into very pleasant ones.”

Both as a Realtor and a new-home consumer, Elliott knows the value of buyer representation, especially in new construction purchases, and never allows his clients to be pressured. "As a buyer representative, I discuss with my clients' their short and long term plans for their next home," says Elliott. "This is critical because beyond size, number of bedrooms and baths, and a great kitchen, other factors change. A house might be an empty-nest soon or could be a transition house in a short- term corporate move involving school-age children. These questions and more should be considered prior to writing a contract."

Like many current Houston area residents, Elliott relocated to the Bayou City. Born and reared in Michigan during the Motown era, he grew up listening to The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross and The Supremes. When not working, Elliott enjoys time with his family, motorcycling, spectator sports, and good movies on DVD.
