We look forward tosharing the benefits of a Catholic education with you and showingyou what we have to offer your family. - Sacred Heart Catholic School was founded in 1930 by Father S.A. Zientek (later Monsignor) and Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament and has been providing a faith-filled, Catholic education for over 95 years in La Grange. The original parish rectory was converted to serve as the first school building until 1937 when a new school was built on the current parish property.The 1937 Sacred Heart School building served generations of students - many whom still hold memories dear to them. The arrival of Father Harry Mazurkiewicz in 1956 (later Monsignor) ensured that Sacred Heart Parish and School would be in good hands for years to come. In 1987, the old school was demolished and our current school building was built. Over the years, our school has undergone many changes, but the strong faith foundation and academic excellence has remained the same.
