A Stanford graduate, I speak Russian and Spanish. I lived three years in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, where I served in the Peace Corps. I taught with Americorps for two years in South-Central Los Angeles. I have also worked in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Mexico.
