Common interview questions:

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
There is nothing better than a satisfied client. Real estate is one of those professions where you know whether or not you've made a difference for someone right away. I enjoy introducing our coastal area to new residents and visitors, and I love helping people fulfill a dream.

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Expectations. They are rarely in line with the realities of the market. There is so much media coverage on real estate these days. And all too often, the stories are irrelevant to the buyers/sellers in my area. Real estate markets are local in nature. I provide my clients with news and local market statistics that pertain to them.

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
The years following Hurricane Ike were interesting to say the least. It was the first time a storm of that magnitude with that kind of destruction hit the island since 1900. At the same time, the mortgage industry imploded with the collapse of Lehman Brothers, and the country was in the early stages of a recession. What followed was a very unpredictable market for several years. It was an experience I don't think I will ever forget.
