A native Houstonian, Cyndi earned a full academic scholarship to the University of Houston, served as President of Zeta Tau Alpha her senior year, and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Her real estate career began at Coventry Homes in 1995. By 2001 she was Manager of Realtor Relations. In 2013 she became Vice President of Listing Services and Broker for Texas — a position she held for ten years before founding the Cyndi Kornegay Team independently.
