After the 2010 homebuyers tax credit expired, the Greater Houston area home sales fell for five months in a row, according to statistics provided by HAR.
The sales in November 2009 as compared to those by the end of November 2010 reflect that single family home sales fell by 22%.
The good news, however , is that despite the decrease in number and in volume of these sales, the average and median prices have increased. Luxury homes sales contribute to driving the pricing gains in the Greater Houston Area.
