What is HDR Photography?

Both of these photos were taken using the same professional camera.  The one on the left is an HDR (high dynamic range) photo, using an advanced technology to remove shadows, sharpen colors, and make the picture look the same way the human eye would see the room.  Notice particularly the windows.  Many agents would prefer to save money and use the lesser quality on the right.  You can see different photos on different listings by some agents that will actually use their cell phone cameras to take pictures, sometimes on homes priced in excess of 500,000.  Some agents may use the HDR photos, but ask their client to pay for them.  When you list with us, whether you are listing a 150,000 house or a 1,000,000+ house... you will get all HDR photography... Why is professional FAA licensed drone photography/videography so important?

Although both of these are great photos, and youd probably want to use them both, clearly the drone photo tell a much bigger story.  Without it, this would be just another beautiful home.  But the drone photo gives the viewer much more of a feel that this is actually a 1.25 acre estate on a small private lake.  To fully paint the picture, you need them both.  Once again, many agents will not spend the extra money.  Theyd just use the less expensive one on the left.  Paired together, these two great photos will generally attract more online buyers.  We use professional FAA licensed and insured drone photos and videos in 100% of our listings (unless the home is in very close proximity to an airport, where the FAA prohibits drone flight).

Do you ever watch HGTV?  Your prospective buyers probably do, too.  They are used to seeing video of homes.  These videos usually run around 2 minutes each.  They give the prospective buyer a complete visual tour of the inside and outside of the home, similar to the format they might se on TV.  There is an expense associated with these, too.  Youll very seldom see one of these (other than maybe a slide show video) on very few listings below 1,000,000+.  Will they make a great impression on your buyer?
