Why should you use this service?
90% of home buyers out there use popular home search apps and website sites like Trulia, Zillow, Realtor, Redfin, and Homes, etc. to search for homes. The only way to get your home on these websites is if you hire an agent for a 6% or more commission. On the other hand, For Sale By Owner have very low visibility or popularity amongst most buyers because of low exposure and the fact not all consumers or first-time home buyers are aware of the websites in which your home may appear as an FSBO. Therefore, if you want to attract the most serious buyers, you need to be syndicated and have your home featured on all major home search websites, across the country and not just a local FSBO website or the section of a website. But there is no such thing as free lunch. Whats the catch?
In order for you to qualify to feature your listing on the MLS across the nation, there are some guidelines. You have to be willing to pay a 3% commission to the buyers broker (the broker/agent who brings you the buyer). This is an MLS rule and no homes get listed on the MLS for free because no agent would want to bring you a buyer for free.
Also, only upon the successful sale of your property, there will be a 1% sales fee due to RE/MAX Signature.

How long is the contract for? Am I obligated to use your service for a period of time?
You are not obligated to use this service for any specific period of time. You may choose to cancel your MLS advertising service at any time. However, your home cannot be on the MLS for more than 180 days, at which point it expires. Please note that in todays market, a home priced right and marketed correctly does not stay that long so please be sure to price your property correctly when using this service.
How is this service different than me hiring an agent?
Firstly, know that we are also licensed agents in the state of Texas. However, we will not be performing all the work involved in getting your home sold. By being by owner, you are indicating that you are willing to perform all of those tasks yourself. This service just allows you to get more eye-balls on your home and more calls and showing requests from serious buyers. You will be responsible for coordinating showings, taking picutres, fillout the MLS advertisement sheet, etc. If at any point you decide to hire us to perform all the tasks and activities involved, we would gladly help. If you would like to sign up and get started, there are three steps you must complete:
1. Complete and submit the HAR.com MLS Listing Information Sheet
2. FIll out RE/MAX Signature Information Sheet (Google Form)
3. Submit 8-24 pictures of your home by going to WeTransfer and Email to: assistantline@gmail.com
