"Weekenders" in Round Top since 2003 when they first bought property, Linda and her husband decided to abandon their West University roots and become full-time country residents in 2015. She is well versed in the local area working across multiple counties, including Fayette, Austin, and Colorado. Her passion is assisting clients in finding the farm or ranch that is the best fit for their family. Whether her clients are seeking a primary residence or a second home, she is keenly aware of how important it is to find a tranquil and relaxing setting that is indicative of this beautiful area.

Over a period of 30 years, Linda worked in the oil and gas industry. She was an international oil trader for a major oil and gas company focusing on Latin America. She traveled extensively in Central and South America. Dealing with customers on a daily basis, she found that communication was the key to developing successful working relationships. Negotiating was always her strong suit, but also trust and mutual respect with her customers which attributed to her success and long term career.

Linda discovered that negotiating and trading large volumes of oil served as a perfect platform for a career in real estate. As a trader she dealt with multimillion dollar transactions which ties in beautifully to negotiating luxury properties.

This consummate professional goes above and beyond to assist her clients in achieving a seamless transaction from contract to closing. Her extraordinary communication ability woven into strong negotiating skills, organization, problem solving, honesty and high ethics, enables her to achieve a "win-win" result for all parties.

A native Texan, she was born in the Panhandle. After graduating from Texas Tech University, she moved to Houston which had been home until her recent move to her farm in Round Top. She is proud to have called herself a Houstonian and still has strong ties to the city.

Linda is fully immersed in the Round Top Community. She serves on the board of Friends of Winedale as Vice President. This is an organization that supports the Winedale Historical Complex which is a division of The University of Texas Austin's Briscoe Center for American history. She is also a member of the fundraising committee for the Round Top Public Library and First Presbyterian Church of La Grange. She enjoys entertaining friends and family on her farm and when time allows, she enjoys traveling.

2024 marks Ruth Ann's 22nd year in the real estate profession. She is a seventh-generation Texan and fourth-generation Houstonian and began her real estate career at John Daugherty, Realtors and Greenwood King Properties in Houston. She has strong family ties to the Round Top area and grew up spending time with relatives in Fayette County. Ruth Ann and her husband, Stephen, decided Round Top would be the ideal place to raise their three daughters. With many years of experience in the high-paced Houston real estate market, she brought to Round Top Real Estate strategic negotiating skills, first-rate marketing ideas for property listings, and a drive to assist her clients in finding the perfect property. Ruth Ann's husband Steve also works in the real estate industry as underwriting counsel for Old Republic Title Insurance Company

Ruth Ann attended Duchesne Academy in Houston and remains an active alumnae board member. She received her B.A. in English from The University of the South (Sewanee) in Tennessee, graduating with Distinction. She is currently a member of the Round Top Chamber of Commerce, The Round Top DYD Club, and The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce. She is actively involved as a church and school volunteer.

She is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, the Austin Board of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, South Central Board of Realtors, and Realtors Land Institute. Ruth Ann enjoys gardening, antiquing, and entertaining her out-of-town friends and family in scenic Round Top. When she's not working and wants to get away, Ruth Ann and her husband and daughters enjoy road trips with the goal of visiting all 50 states.

Connie brings an extensive background in customer service to her real estate career. Focusing on the client's goals and creating a plan to achieve those goals has led to her success. Her personal experience with many moves growing up helps her understand the stress of buying and selling. Connie's last move was from Katy to Chappell Hill where she is experiencing the joys of remodeling. Connie and her husband completely restored a home in Brenham which was a great learning experience.



As a resident of Chappell Hill, Connie has embraced the country lifestyle. She is an active member of the Chappell Hill Historical Society, sits on the board of the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce and is involved in local politics. This has given her the opportunity to build strong relationships with the Chappell Hill and Washington County community. Understanding the community she serves, plays a critical role in finding the right area for her clients.



Connie and her husband, Todd, have been married for 35 years. They have one son who is a Houston Police officer and a graduate of Texas A & M. When time allows, Connie enjoys antiquing, gardening and travel.

Emily Kahanek Shaw has lived in the Round Top and La Grange area her entire life. She is a native of Fayette County; her family roots go back generations. After college Emily married her high school sweetheart, Casey and they have 4 children. As a team, Casey and Emily operate CE Cattle Co. and their investment properties. Emily's knowledge of this area, the land, the history and the people is vast. Her love of people and real estate blend seamlessly together as she works hard for her clients; going above and beyond to help them achieve their real estate goals. She truly loves helping others. Kyla Goebel grew up in Washington County and spent much of her childhood at her family's farm in Fayette County. She attended Texas A&M University after high school and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and Journalism. After purchasing her first home at the age of 22, she quickly became interested in the field of real estate and earned her license in 2016. She immediately fell in love with the profession and has been hard at work ever since! Kyla specializes in both residential and farm & ranch and will represent both buyers and sellers. Kyla is married to her husband Reese, and they have one son. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, running and spending time with her family. A perfect day starts with a hot cup of coffee (or three) and a sunrise, and ends with a beer and Bravo marathon on TV. Helen's real estate roots run deep.Her family has been in real estate development for over fifty years. She has always taken an active part in the business. Helen got her license in 1976 and her first experience was with a Houston home-builder. When her husband's company transferred him to Corpus Christi she joined a commercial company. When they returned to Houston she joined John Daugherty Realtors as the Farm and Ranch manager. That gave Helen and her husband Fred the excuse to become full time residents of Washington County. They moved to their family farm in Chappell Hill in 1992 and have been an active part of that community. When Daugherty closed his Farm and Ranch division Helen commuted to Houston for several years to go back into commercial real estate. She changed directions when the opportunity presented itself and joined a local green house grower in Brenham and was in management for several years… She decided to somewhat retire and just handle family business until Cathy Cole encouraged her to join Heritage Texas Country Properties. Helen says you just cannot get real estate out of your blood. Helen and Fred have been married for over fifty years and he is retired from oil and gas exploration. They have two grown sons,a wonderful daughter-in-law and two terrific grandchildren.

Born and raised in Dallas, Dovie moved to Houston after attending Texas Tech University and graduating from North Texas University with a degree in education. After several years of teaching, Dovie looked for something else and chose residential real estate, earning her license in 1980. Beginning her practice in relocation sales, Dovie quickly discovered that the business required efficiency and long hours. Undaunted, she soon compounded sale upon sale to become a top producer. Over the years, Dovie has been a successful agent, sales manager and broker-owner.

Dovie wasn’t only selling and managing over the years; she was developing her unique and highly successful management style while giving back to the profession she quickly admits “has been very good” to her. Dovie was elected chairman of the board for the Houston Association of Realtors in 2003, and has served as a director for both the National Association of Realtors and the Texas Association of Realtors. She has also served as a member of the TAR executive board. Her most cherished award was received in 2005 when she was named Realtor of the Year by the Houston Association of Realtors. After many years of contributing her time and efforts to various committees and functions for HAR, TAR and NAR, Dovie received the Omega Tau Rho Award for outstanding volunteer service in 2004 from TAR. She presently serves on the HAR Board of Directors and the MLS Committee.

In 2012, Dovie joined Greenwood King Properties as a Sales Manager for the the Voss office. Her primary responsibilities are new agent recruitment and on-going professional agent training and certification classes to help agents take their business to the next level. Dovie encourages agents to “work smart each and every day and success will follow,” and she takes great pride in seeing agents prosper at Greenwood King Properties.

There's no doubt Lisa Mayer is a Texan ¬– inside and out! Her welcoming personality and love of the land come from her Grimes County roots, while husband, Monty, a 5th generation Fayette County resident, is not only her partner in life but that additional resource that adds unique insight to the area.

Lisa began her real estate career as a Sales Associate in 1986, while earning a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M, and later obtained her broker license in 1988. She has proudly served multiple positions at the South Central Board of Realtors including president from 2011-2013. For the 2017 year, she served as the Board's Secretary. Lisa is a 2011 graduate of the Texas Realtors Leadership Program and was named as the South Central Board of Realtors Realtor of the Year in both 2011 and 2017. Lisa joined Round Top Real Estate in January 1996, and has consistently been a top producer.

Lisa loves helping others and making a positive difference. She has held numerous offices with the Carmine Lions Club, as well as a director of the Round Top Carmine ISD Education Foundation, director of the Round Top Family Library, and member of the Texas Women's League. The importance of family, a strong work ethic and community involvement are traits she and her husband are proud to pass on to their children, Claire and Adam.
