Being born and raised on Galveston Island has allowed Kristi to become an expert on the areas surrounding the gulf coast. She discovered her passion for the real estate industry at an early age when she began her career which has given her the opportunity to gain knowledge, along with a true understanding of the many different stages in the home buying process. She's had firsthand experience in all aspects of real estate from managing the initial construction stages to the final closing process.
She is a fun, outgoing, yet down to earth mother of 3, who understands just how intimidating the home buying process may seem, and that's why she prides herself on more than just outstanding customer satisfaction, she really wants to get to know her clients as she becomes not only their real estate advocate but someone they can call a friend. Michelle McGowan is a native of Southeast Texas and has been an active member in her community for 30 plus years. She is so excited to be serving her community. With a passion for service in the Southeast TX area, Michelle is ready to help with your home buying and selling needs. As Office Manager of Key2close realty, she carries the values of hard work, integrity and outstanding client service into everything she does. Michelle especially likes to help first time homebuyers turn their homebuying dreams into reality. She has founded the SETX First Time Homebuyer Hub and loves teaching and providing the educational resources needed to buy a home. Prior to real estate, Michelle worked as a Human Resources Leader in several different industries with a strong emphasis in negotiations, training, business acumen, leadership and customer service. Those industries include retail, pulp and paper, and the oil and energy sector. She graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
