Melissa has been a Real Estate Agent since 2007. Her career began at Coldwell Banker United and she hit the ground running making "Rookie of the Year". She left the corporate working world of Merrill Lynch and Vinson & Elkins Law Firm to begin her dream job. To this day she still says "it was the best decision I have ever made". She understands that the home is your biggest asset and loves helping her clients find their dream home. Melissa was born in Houston and raised in Bellaire Texas. She is very knowledgeable of the Houston market and surrounding areas. She decided to leave the big city and make her way to the Pearland/Friendswood area in the year 2000 to raise her family and she has not looked back. She is part of the RISE Mentoring Program which helps students rise above obstacles and succeed in school and life. She enjoys antiquing, decorating, art class, jewelry making and bible study. She is married to her husband Brian of 23 years and has a High School Junior and a Sophomore at Texas State University. I became a real estate agent after a personal home buying experience went haywire. After buying my first home, expecting to move in, I found out that my home had been broken into and all the copper wire was stolen. Unfortunately, our Realtor had missed a major step: the final walkthrough. With no electricity, no A/C and no other place to go, my amazing husband worked tirelessly on our house for 3 months (plus thousands more dollars) to be able to finally move in.
