As a fifth generation Houstonian, having grown up in Bellaire, I have watched Houston grow exponentially into the bold and dynamic multi-national, multi-cultural metropolis it is today. Houston has provided the perfect environment to nurture and impart my love of culture to my family with a world-class symphony, opera, ballet and live theater. We love foodie scene in Houston with so many exciting choices-- and with the most restaurants per capita in the U.S. we will never run out of options. My husband and I never considered anywhere but Houston to raise our six children.

When our children were little, in between scouts and sports, we spent many weekends exploring open houses in all of the latest developments springing up on all sides of Houston--The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Friendswood, Katy, Pearland, etc--and we would dream of the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood. Since I always wanted to travel, in my life after being a stay-at-home mom and small business owner, I reinvented myself into a flight attendant. After 17 years of seeing the world with Houston's hometown airline, I decided there really is no place like home. Now, instead of providing first class service at 30,000 feet, I provide first class service to families looking to buy or sell their homes on the ground. As a flight attendant, my goal was to provided the attentive and personal service that I wanted as a passenger. As a REALTOR, my goal is to provide the same kind of first class service to my clients that I would want if I were buying or selling the most important and valuable asset, my home, that I am likely to own. I won't be satisfied until my clients are satisfied that they feel they have received the best value for their money and feel that they have achieved their dream.

My listing has a early (no cost) termination clause so you are not "held hostage" by a listing agreement. I do what I say so we can be assured of the sale.

Buying a home can be as stressful as selling. If you are a first time home buyer, I will thoroughly explain the home buying experience, timeline and associated costs so you are fully informed. We will do a complete needs analysis so all of us will know exactly what you need and want in your new home (like a grocery list). We will agree about our roles and expectations to make sure we ar

When we do the home search, we will only look for homes that meet your criteria with a complete showing package including disclosures and pricing tools for each home.

In general:

We will ask you a lot of questions, listen to your specific needs and make the most appropriate plans and stategies that will assure you get the home that you want, and more importantly, want the home you get. Later, we will hold that plan accountable weekly.
I seek out the best in each industry to work with so I can recommend them to you for buying or selling. We talk about roles and expectations with each person in the company so you are assured the best experience possible (mortgage, title, inspections, home warranty, survey, etc.).

Tony Barker was not born in Texas, but got here as fast as he could! Tony believes mastery is a journey not a destination. Tony's belief that "helping people is part of God's plan" propels him forward. Tony has lived in the Houston area for 28 years and would not be anywhere else. He is married to his lovely wife, Anita, for 28 years and has six children.

By being intentional with his children's growth, Tony has three demands of them:
- they must graduate from college,
- get at least one black belt in a martial art,
- he is their father for life (not just until 18 years old)
