As a Real Estate Agent I Love getting to Know my clients and what their needs are. I take time to listen to their prerequisites and interests while professionally guiding them through the lending, buying and selling process. When I am ask what sets me apart from another agent , my answer is always (You get Me and My services from Purchase to close, or from listing to close and beyond. I have assisted with purchases and sales in approximately 15 counties and have lived in or around most of them. I will exercise honesty and integrity in every step of the process and work every transaction as my number 1 priority. My real estate journey began in 2009 in Houston, TX and I am honored to have helped many along the way. Prior to that, I've worked in the Oil Field in Business Development & Procurement and was also a Veterinary Technician. The opportunities I had in the Oil Field were wonderful and I was on a great career path, but the feeling I had after closing my first client on their first home was more gratifying. My journey in life is to make a difference and to help others and with Real Estate I can do that. I am also extremely passionate about animal rescue. I am the founder of Paw Huggers Animal Rescue and we do a lot of community outreach in hopes of educating the public on proper pet care. We often focus on rescuing pets that are critical or special needs as we know not everyone is prepared to take on that level of commitment.

Growing up the granddaughter of a builder, real estate was a natural next step for Monica after she retired from a successful career as an appellate attorney. Monica graduated cum laude from Dedman College of Law (Southern Methodist University) where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif, named a Hutchison Fellow (full merit scholarship), and was an editor of the SMU Law Review. She received her BA magna cum laude in Chinese History and Political Science from Colorado College and studied Mandarin Chinese as a PICAS Fellow at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.



In her spare time, Monica likes spending time with her family and three fur babies. She enjoys Sudoku, Vinyasa Yoga, and attending performances of the Houston Grand Opera. Monica believes in serving her community and actively donates to Houston PetSet and various performing arts organizations.
