"I managed numerous rebuilding projects and coordinated personally with private and government entities to rebuild structures, many with historic designations, in New Orleans after Katrina, but I had no idea that expertise would be put to good use aftermoving to Houston in 2016," Roland says. "When Harvey hit, I volunteered with the Cajun Navy to do my part to help in the storm aftermath and was ultimately hired as the project superintendent with Ballard Building Company for the reconstruction of 14 high-end Memorial-area residences. We eventually renovated or rebuilt 22 projects in total. Helping those people put their lives back together after such an unexpected and life-altering event was extremely rewarding. It was also a crash-course in Houston neighborhoods, self-reliance, and the importance of neighbors supporting neighbors."

Michael DeTerlizzi joins Nino Properties as a sales agent specializing in residential and commercial properties after a decade of coaching and teaching at the college and high school levels. Upon finishing his college football career and completing his Masters of Business Administration, Michael entered the coaching profession while still keeping his passion for business and entrepreneurship alive through various endeavors. Real estate quickly arose as a growing passion in his pursuit to build relationships and serve people in their buying, selling or renting journeys. The relocation process is something very familiar to Michael, having lived in seven states by way of new job opportunities or family moves over the years.
