Sue Ellen grew up in Bell County enjoying the benefits of being raised in such a unique and encouraging environment. Her parents, Bill & Ruth Bartlett, instilled in all their children the value of hard work. After graduating from Baylor University with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Real Estate, Sue Ellen earned her CPA license and was an accountant before staying home to raise her family. After living away from Texas for many years, Sue Ellen moved back to Salado in 1998 and has been an active Realtor® for over 19 years. Sue Ellen has recently served on the Temple-Belton Board of Realtors® as Secretary and is currently serving as a Director of the Salado Water Corporation. Continuing education is very important to Sue Ellen. She earned her real estate Broker's license in 2000 and has since earned the designations of ABR® (Accredited Buyer's Representative), GRI (Graduate, Real Estate Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist). Sue Ellen is a graduate of the Texas Association of Realtors® Texas Realtors® Leadership Program (TRLP). She has also been awarded numerous Top Producer awards through the Century 21 System. Sue Ellen is married to Joe Vaughn, and combined, they have a blended family of seven children and (never too) many adorable grandchildren. Sue Ellen and her family couldn't find a better place to live, work and play than Salado.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting as well as a real estate broker license and several real estate designations. I bring to the real estate profession advanced experience in accounting and commercial real estate and business lending. Working as a staff accountant with a small accounting firm in the Washington, D.C. area and as the Senior Credit Analyst for the largest bank in central Texas, my range of experience speaks for itself.
