Writing the Short Screenplay

This class will guide you through  the intricacies of writing an effective short screenplay which are now accepted  at many Film Festivals competitions.  Character,  plot, and brainstorming are the highlights of these classes as students review screenwriting software and formatting.   In the culmination of this class, one screenplay will be chosen for development. Classes are Sundays on March 6, 13 and 20 and Sundays April 3, 10, 17.   Class length is one and a half hours.   ** No class on Easter Sunday.   Parking available across the street.   Limit to 10 students.   Please have Final Draft or Celtx on a computer.    Nella Citino is a media veteran with over 20 years experience in the video, broadcast and film industries. She has received seven regional Emmys, five Gabriel Awards, Special Recognition from the National Association of Broadcasters, several Telly Awards and several Parents’ Choice Awards. In addition to this, she has been the recipient of an Award of Excellence from the Videographer Awards and a Gold Award from the Chicago International Film Festival.  Her films have been accepted into several international and national film festivals and she has received recognition for her writing. She is also board member of the Educational committee of the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and board member of Film Wisconsin.
