I have to say when my husband & I were newly weds in our first home, one of the hot debates we had as we were setting up our shared environment was:

At what height does the various wall hangings go?

His preference was much higher than mine & we found even though our individual physical height is not remarkably different we did not initially agree upon where to place pictures on the wall.

Seems like a simple thing really, but the height or arrangement of wall art can impact the feeling of a room.
