Everything real estate related is local, up-to-date and readily available at our finger tips. National web sites get a small portion of data that trickles to them from Realtor Boards that subscribe.

When looking to plant a garden, youd talk to a local nursery professional, right? Otherwise, wasted time and resources can result. The same concept applies when buying or selling a home.

Hiring a local real estate agent leads the way to successful means. Relatives and friends may want the best for you but often give assumptive advice about an industry they know little about.

In Houston, I know and research the night life, the school systems, the big events coming up, the markets that are growing, and more!

Oh, and avoid going it alone or there could be trouble ahead! Local agents are prepared to write informed offers, negotiate terms, meet deadlines and put client needs first and foremost.

Buyers and sellers need the guidance of real estate agents who have a local presence, because:

  • It minimizes risk
  • They possess reliable market knowledge
  • Living, working and playing in the local community, matters
  • Knowing the area means more than knowing the house youre selling. It means you tapping into the local scene and what is around there.

Thankfully, the majority of consumers understand the process and are more than willing to achieve their goals by hiring a local real estate agent to assist and by researching the area thoroughly. But as investors, you need to make sure you also know the potential of the property in order to sell or rent it for the best profit! That starts with a local agent!

After all, it is a huge commitment and one of the biggest purchases a consumer makes in their lifetime. Just because someone is an agent from that state, doesnt mean that they are an EXPERT of that area/city. SUPPOT LOCAL!
