An Introduction to Who I Am and Why I Love Real Estate

I'm new to blogging but if I can offer a space to answer your questions, inform you of new listings and developments in our community, provide my unique perspective on real estate and connect with you in new ways, I'm happy to try anything! I love being a real estate agent - I love working one-on-one with clients and doing what I can to secure each family their dream home. I love helping people sell their homes to move on to the next stage in their lives. Whether it is due to a job transfer, moving up to a larger home to accommodate a growing family, or downsizing for the empty nesters. I haven't always been in this business. Before, I was in the car industry as an office manager for 25+ years. In fact, I've been working full time since I was in high school so I know the value of a hard day's work!

I have lived in Dayton, Texas for 22 years and raised my two children here. I've been with my husband for over 25 years and he has been a lifelong resident in this area. Gratefully my children both live in the greater Houston area so I get to see them (and my two grandsons!) often which is such a blessing.

Family is the most important thing in my life and I've always been grateful for this town and the home we purchased many years ago. Our home was at the center of everything - birthday parties, holiday celebrations, day-to-day life and now my grandchildren visit us here. At this point in my life, I realize now more than ever, a house is more than just a building we put all of our stuff in and sleep in at night -  whether it's a starter house, rental property, or forever home - it's a place we come to every day to connect with and nurture the people we love most.
