The Houston Realtor and You

Working in real estate, there is never a dull moment.  Sometimes we want homes to sell faster to make our clients more satisfied with our work.  Although, we face challenges from time to time it gives us another opportunity to find a solution to market a listing in ways we never thought of before.
Marketing my listings to other agents never seemed to be a good idea.  Afterall, an agent should be able to find my listing without any hassles.  However, you never know when luck might just come your way when putting your listing in front of the right agent at the right moment.
It really is our job to exhaust any and all possible ways to market a listing.  While a ton of listings come into my email many of them are sorted by location.  Sure I want to know the lastest price reduction on a home like everyone else, but only if it's in a neighborhood I have extensive knowledge on.
Everyday I run a report to see what is new in my neighborhood including any and all status changes to see if a contract came through on a home close by.  This information is priceless to me and my clients, who like to know what is happening in their market.
I appreciate the effort from agents who let me know what is new with their listings.  and in return I'm letting them know about my listings too.  Hey, time is precious in this business and information that is given to me that ultimately saves me a little extra time is much desired.
