If you’ve never purchased a home before, you don’t know, what you don’t know. In these moments, rely on the experience and expertise of a professional. 

First-time buyers come with excitement about purchasing their first home as well as many questions such as:

  • How will I know if I can afford this home?
  • Can you help us understand the current market status? Is this a good time to buy a home?
  • Is a pre-approval letter something I should pursue?
  • Which kinds of paperwork will need to be completed?
  • Do I really need a home inspection or is this an expense that can be skipped?
  • How much should my offer be?
  • What happens during a bidding war?
  • How much money is needed for the down payment and to cover closing costs?

This is just a sampling of topics we’ll talk about. My promise to my clients is that we’ll walk through this process together. I, along with my support system, have the know-how to help with whatever may come up.

As I get to know you and your needs, I’ll ask questions around your lifestyle needs as well as about your future plans. This helps buyers combat any worries over buying the wrong home that may not be suitable to see them through natural family transitions or hold its long-term value or be in a location that doesn’t make it a good fit for them.

When Clients Become Long-Time Friends

Many of my clients become long-time friends which is one of the most satisfying perks to my career choice. I delight in the diversity of people I get to work with and meet for a cup of coffee, conversation, and to catch-up. It’s a joy to bump into clients when we’re out in the community, attending school and band events, or simply taking a walk around the dog park or a seasonal festival.  

It’s a great feeling to recognize faces and names as I’m out-and-about and get a chance to say “hello.” During these moments, I often remember specific properties and how much happiness my clients are feeling when I witness them sign their names on their contracts and when the keys to their new home are placed in their hands. It’s so rewarding and I’m honored to experience this over and over. 

Another time of bliss is when clients return to sell their home and buy another home. I’m humbled to have so many clients choose to work with me again. It’s an extra sweet complement when my clients refer me to their friends and family.
