When you’re out with your pup and want to grab a bite to eat that’s more than a quick-stop snack, where do you go? Houston’s dog-friendly dining options are favorites for both dog owners and patrons. We’ve rounded up several great choices to share with you. These pet-friendly cafés, restaurants, and pubs will welcome you and your leashed pet. After you’ve finished playing in the dog park make plans to eat out before heading home.
Please note that establishments may have their own rule variations but these general guidelines will help you and your pet know what is expected.
This café serves burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and salads. Breakfast is served all day. From the pet menu you’ll even find ice cream specially blended for your dog. Barnaby’s Café has nine locations around Houston. Visit their website to learn which location is nearest to you.

Saint Arnold is home to two great spaces that are perfect for occasions of any kind. The Beer Hall is a large German-inspired gathering place with handcrafted tables and benches. The Investors Pub is an English-style pub with picnic tables, barstools, and leather chairs. The outdoor seating makes it a relaxing setting for pet-friendly socializing.

Eat. Drink. Be Happy. The Sugar Land location has an outside dining area that is pet-friendly. (We’re not 100% sure if the other locations can accommodate pets.) Bar Louie offers a comfortable atmosphere where you are encouraged to relax and hang out. Whether you’re looking for good food, a refreshing cocktail, or just conversation, Bar Louie offers it all.

Enjoy signature hot dogs, salads, sides, and shakes all made from fresh, top-quality ingredients or take a seat on the dog-friendly patio with a selection from their rotating local craft beers.
Located at 1039 Yale Street, Houston Heights
There is spacious outdoor seating that’s a perfect place to be with your dog while you sip and just chill. This revisionist ice house is known for celebrating whiskey mash and masa.
Located at 2298 Texas Drive, Sugar Land
The newly remodeled Rouxpour Restaurant & Bar Sugarland is located in the heart of Sugar Land's Town Center with a place outside for socializing with your friends—both human and four-legged pets. Their full New Orleans menu will give you a taste of the Big Easy right here at home.
Located at (Colony Mall) 16535 Southwest Fwy., Suite 2500, Sugar Land
When you’re craving the taste of signature coal brick-oven pizza and calzones baked to perfection, Grimaldi’s Pizza is the place to be. Both the pizzas and calzones come in 12-inch, 16-inch, or 18-inch sizes to accommodate appetites big and small. There are various outdoor seating options around the Colony Mall property.
