This one of my personal favorites. They host monthly wine dinners paired with extraordinary dishes plus they even have a wine club. Brandani’s specializes in serving the freshest seafood possible, the finest cuts of meat plus creates every sauce, dressing, and dessert from scratch.

Craving Italian or perhaps seafood? Head over to Alex’s Kitchen. They are closed on Mondays but you can enjoy lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday. This restaurant is located in the heart of Missouri City. It’s an amazing place to take your date or celebrate a special occasion. This cozy restaurant is perfect for families plus large or small groups. Some of the top selections on the menu include filet mignon, scallops, lobster tail, artichokes, fried green tomatoes with shrimp, and don’t forget to try the desserts.

Since 1988 Zeydeco Louisiana Diner has been serving up South Louisiana home-cooking from a menu that features three generations of family recipes. Meals are served cafeteria-style with everything served fresh daily. The diner is open for lunch Monday through Friday and closed weekends. Some of the top favorites include gumbo—choose from seafood or chicken and sausage—red beans, jambalaya, etouffee, and chicken and sausage creole. Don’t forget to get some bread pudding—voted as one the Top 7 Bread Puddings in Houston in 2023.

This colorful Jamaican restaurant is comfortable, welcoming, and one of Houston’s highest rated restaurants on Yelp. Highlights on the menu include jerk chicken, oxtail, curry goat, red snapper, ackee and saltfish. Plus, Helen’s Kitchen will cook a variety of specialty dishes to order. Bring your appetite because the portions are huge.

What makes Elliot’s Table unique is their take on classic Southern dishes with an elevated global twist. A few examples of this twist are Portuguese octopus, Thai chili ribs, drunken mussels, and dry-aged duck.
