If you are a Realtor most likely you have been asked this question. I wish I have the definitive answer, but I dont nor anyone working in the Real Estate industry really knows it. As far local level Houston and it surroundings one thing is for sure as long supply stays as low and Mortgage rates stay where they are it will continue. I can share personal experience where we had good inventory but not as many buyers, now completely opposite. Buyers are qualified, willing and able to complete the transaction but I am unable to find them the house, Sadly because too many buyers not enough houses for sale.
That brings another question to mind where are these buyers are coming from, or one clients puts in perspective! Are we having Alien invasion on the housing market? My answer is not sure if buyer from another state will fit the description. Being a buyer agent I am seeing buyers who are wanting to upgrade to a bigger house, pool and community with more amenities.
