Hey everyone it’s Mari and I’ve been a little hectic lately and unfortunately ignoring this new blog of ours. I’ve got a lot of editing to do so think of this as the Rick Martinez Team Blog Beta for the time being.

I’m going to be asking for feedback from time to time from anyone who happens to stop by here.

First and foremost:  HotPads.com

If you haven’t been to this website, it is a mapping website that allows you to browse houses for sale or rent, sublets, apartment complexes, etc. It’s a free service so anyone who has a listing can put one up. I discovered this site today and began adding some of our rental listings. I wanted to get some feedback as to whether or not any of you have used this site, or if you navigate to this site, let me know what you think of it?

I’m trying to give our clients and our listings the most internet exposure that I can, but I have only two arms and a limited number of hours in the day to dedicate to keeping these websites updated. I’ve been working on posting our listings on multiple websites and seeing what kind of traffic they receive. If I find something that seems worthy, Rick and I have been discussing extending our marketing and placing ads with these sites.

To me, HotPads.com seems like a user-friendly, interactive site that I would like to post all of our listings on. Any feedback on how you like the site, how easy or difficult it is to navigate the site, etc.

The property to the right is actually one of our rental properties.

If you haven’t checked out this site I would suggest doing so. I’m hoping it starts to take off a little bit more, but I find this site to be much friendlier than another rental listing site I have posted some of our listings to.

Well back to the grind for me. Rick and Tony are out learning some interesting new things today and I’m taking advantage of the time I’ve got to make sure all of our listings are updated and online.
