Walking Tour of Woodland Heights - Aug 14th

Preservation Houston gives walking tours of different parts of the city each month. I have been on several in different parts of downtown. I find them fascinating and much more fun than reading about history of that aea.

The upcoming tour is of my neighborhood, historical Woodland Heights.

Sign up starts at 5:30 pm Sunday, August 14th, in front of Travis Elementary on Beauchamp St. The 90 minute walking tour will stroll the neighborhood surrounding tree-lined Bayland Ave. Predominant house styles of this historical neighborhood will be discussed: bungalows, cottages, foursquares, etc.
