Waller and Hockley Recognized Among Houston's Hottest Communities for 2025

According to HAR’s latest 10 Hottest Communities in the Houston Area report (Q3-2025), both Waller and Hockley ranked in the Top 5 — with Waller earning the #1 position and Hockley coming in at #4.

This recognition reflects what we’ve been seeing across Northwest Houston. New master-planned neighborhoods, expanding Waller ISD campuses, and improved 290 access have positioned both communities for tremendous growth.

Waller’s boom has been driven by developments such as Oakwood Estates, Beacon Hill, and Williams Landing, while Hockley continues to attract buyers in The Grand Prairie, Cypress Green, and Dellrose — where builders like Lennar, Empire, and D.R. Horton remain very active.

These areas offer buyers modern homes, larger lot sizes, and strong value compared to many in-town neighborhoods. With new retail and infrastructure projects planned for 2026, the momentum isn’t slowing anytime soon.
