The transition from city to country living is significant, and can bring unexpected challenges. If you are in a crowded subdivison, and feel like there is just no room to stretch, instead of option for acres, start with a home like this one on Blue Crest. In a subdivision, with all amenities for the kids, but with 1/3 acre for you to start planning and planting, raising and tending. 1/3 acre will let you know how much land you can handle, without uprooting the family to the wilderness. Or you may choose a local community with 1/2 acre to 2 acre lots, with fewer restrictions. A great way to find out if the gentleman (or gentlewoman) farm/ranch life is for you!
