Watching the clouds roll away.

For some of you I know the lyrics to the song started rolling around in your head! For others, well... it sounds like what we are actually doing while waiting for that home to sell. It is now the end of Summer 2025, kids are back in school, we are all waiting for the cooler weather and are thanking God that we seemed to have dodged bullet of the hurricanes this year. You have advertised, promoted and promoted again, not to mention Price improvements and still...nothing!

Hang in there. The sun is still gonna rise tomorrow. The wind Will blow. And the Rates? Well those should be getting better even if it is just a marginal decrease, according to the experts. As of september, 2025 they Do seem to be slipping downwards. (or is that a trickle?) For those of you that know me, or are in my age bracket, I have mentioned many times that I have lived at a time when the interest rates have been in the high teens. You are saying, "Oh my god, Becky", but guess what? Folks still purchased and sold homes! It is a process as old as time. People have always moved, always traded one home for another and, in my humble opinion, will continue to do so.

There isn't a magic wand to wave but rather this thing called patience. If you are like me, it is a tough word.

For the Realtors out there, keep doing your job. Do your homework, work the CMA's, bring your pricing and put that home on the market. Sellers- have confidence in your Realtor. Listen to what they are telling you about the market, about how to present your home if you are still in it, to stage or not to stage and realize when they tell you that your Taj Mahal is valued at a certain price, they are not trying to be mean. We know everyone wants the Most for their home but the reality is, sometimes it is not what you have in your head. Let them know what the most important point is for you. Price Point or moving to the next chapter of your life. Ask about strategies and marketing. Then wait. And remember....unlike the song Otis is singing, things Do change!

Hang in there. Your ship is Coming!!!
