Hola, World! Welcome to my blogging abode. 

It is my mission to keep you educated and updated in the realm of real estate. We'll discuss a variety of topics including affordable housing, renting, investing, buying, selling, community events, and much more.

Since this is my first post, I'll tell you how I got started in the business of real estate. I attended the University of Houston on a full academic scholarship, of which I credit my loving and dedicated parents. As I entered college, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do as a profession.  I graduated with a B.A. in Communications and worked in the field of broadcast  journalism. Truth be told, I didn't feel it was my calling once there. At that point, I wondered how people knew what their passion was. How did some of them know that what they were doing as a profession was something they knew as a child? 

One summer, my husband encouraged me to take real estate classes because I would often discuss issues involving real estate. During the first week of class, I knew I had found my calling. 

I truly believe in the adage that knowledge is power; the more you know, the more you grow. I keep my clients educated and informed throughout the entire process and hope to remain their life-long agent.
