What does the HAR Board of Directors do?

What does the Board of Directors do? HAR is a non-profit for the REALTOR membership. When you look at the list of Board of Directors, all categories except the three categories run by HRIS (MLS, Technology, and Video) is run by HAR. (HRIS runs the for-profit side). 

The HAR Board:

  • Attends an annual annual Strategic Leadership Conference; and meets six times a year to safeguard and advance your interests as a member.  
  • Invests in TREPAC
  • Serves as an ambassador of the Association to promote HAR's products, tools and services and provide information to your firm and the real estate community at large.
  • Participates  in HAR activities such as HAR Engage, HAR Area Networking meetings and service on Advisory Groups.

The HAR Board of Directors includes representatives from:

  • Size Firms:  Largest, Large, Medium, Small, Commercial
  • Districts:  NW, NE, SW, SE, and Central (I am running for SE District and would be honored to earn your vote.)
  • and two appointed members.

The representatives also vote for the Executive Officers (Chair, Chair-elect, Vice Chair 1, Vice Chair 2, Secretary/Treasurer (and past Chair).
