Today is a beautiful day in Houston Metro area, TX.  And these writings are my own personal thoughts and opinions.

So first let me say, Thanks for stopping by and reading.  I am not a writer, but I am a Realtor!

Today, I want to talk about the Holidays.  We are coming into the Thanksgiving season. Thanksgiving is next week and just 3 days after that it is December 1, and CHRISTMAS!!!!.  Be sure to enjoy your Thanksgiving time with your family, friends, charity work, or whatever you do on the 4th Thursday of November.

I am thankful for my husband, Mark, who supports my real estate business and doesn't seem to mind that he has to eat cereal or sandwiches again for supper because I am busy.  I know yall are saying, he can make himself something, but we have been married for 36 years and I cook WAY better that he does! I am thankful for my children and grandchildren,my extended family,  my close friends, and my church.

Tip #1 for Sellers:

Broker Commission Fees are negotiable.

"TREC does not regulate the fees paid to any real estate license holder, including buyer’s agents, seller’s agents, brokers, inspectors or appraisers. All fees are set by your agreement with each professional. Before you sign any representation agreement or service agreement, you should carefully review the fees each individual will be charging." (https://www.trec.texas.gov/public/consumer-information)

All offices set their own commissions, so ask!

Happy Thanksgiving!  Lauree
