I love dianthus. Mine comes back year after year. It may look droopy at end of summer - but give it a haircut and fertilize in late winter and it makes a great showing again! Can't beat it. It likes some sun and part shade to make it through our hot summers. This red one is a bright punch of color before other spring flowers kick in.
