As we all know, Carmelo's is no longer. The Berg Hospitality Group (Ben Berg) took over and then closed Carmelo's. Berg will be reopening that location at the end of April as BB Italia Kitchen & Bar. It will also house BB Pizza which will be only delivery and To-Go Orders of pizza. BB Pizza will be baking NYC style pizza, subs & calzones.
One thing that will remain the same is Carmelo's meatballs. They are to stay on the menu. It is reported that the Kitchen will be serving classic Italian-American food. The restaurant has been remodeled with private dining available, a patio and a U-shaped bar. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner and may begin serving weekend brunch and happy hour about a month after opening. The link to the complete article in Culture Map Houston is below.
