Quote: "Everything is worth what its purchaser will pay for it."
by Publilius Syrus
We all think the home we have loved and cared for all these years is worth much more than the comparable market analysis indicates or the buyer thinks or the 2nd buyer/offer thinks or..... etc. However, at some point we/the seller have to realize that if no one thinks it is worth what we think its worth, then we need to re-think if we want to sell.
It is hard to let go of all the emotion that comes with owning a home and then trying to sell it. But, it is truly the market that sets the price. If no one is willing to pay that price, then no one is who will buy it. Although it is hard, if a seller wants to sell, then he/she must listen to the market.
