UT Houston is Out

According to the Houston Business Journal. UT is pulling out of its plans for a Houston campus. Strong opposition from the University of Houston has put a stop to their expansion into our city. The 250 acres they have already purchased will go up for sale. I don't know if this is good or bad, but I do know that a little competition is usually a good thing.
