Yea, Houston!

I recently attended a meeting of the Women’s Council of Realtors where Mike Inselmann was the guest speaker. He is the co-founder and President of Metrostudy.

During his presentation he spoke about the housing supply. It is currently at a 6 month supply and listings are down. This means it is a seller’s market. So, if you are thinking about selling your house, now is the time.

He also spoke about job growth in the country. The job market in the U.S. is at 1.2% growth. In Texas the growth is at 2.2%. In Houston, it is at 3.3%.

Houston clearly is on top.
