What's an ostrich?  We all know at least one.  In my opinion an ostrich is someone that likes to close their eyes and bury their head to avoid anything they do not want to deal with.  For some, not knowing is a relief.  However, this philosophy can get you into a lot of hot water when you're in business.
In the world of real estate you must keep up with what's going on around you.  I believe keeping yourself educated, taking classes, and keeping your eyes open is the only way to be the best agent you can be.  Your client deserves the best.
Many people do not understand the benefits of taking classes, reading and continuing to learn.  I have listed a few quotes below that I think are excellent food for thought.  Never stop learning!

"They know enough who know how to learn."  by Henry Adams

"What I know, that you ought to know but do not know, makes me powerful."  Anonymous

"If you think education is expensive, try ignorance."  by Derek Bok

How true! In this industry or any other industry for that matter, one cannot stick their head in the sand - the reality will remain and if not fixed will turn worse. Have a great day!
