The above quotes come from well known women in the interior design field. These thoughts apply to staging as well. Think about your room placement. Make conversation areas; don't just try to fill a space. Keep the room/decor understated. Every shelf does not need to be packed full with the homeowner's treasures. Just as in writing and advertising, "white" space is effective. So, advertise the space as effectively as possible.
