Can I let you in on a little secret? I got into real estate for the money. Well, to be specific, the potential income. The starting salary was $0. I *should* say something like, I always loved real estate or I liked the idea of helping people achieve the American dream but that has been a happy accident.
Will you indulge me in trip down memory lane? It is 1999 and I am leaving an inside sales job for a position at Pulte Homes. It felt like jumping off a cliff! Taking a job that was commission was scary as a single twenty-something. To say I have never looked back would be an wild understatement.

As I toured model homes today I reminisced on my 8 years in new construction. I gained a world of knowledge those years. Some of my best friends come from that time. Turns out I do love real estate. I still love first time buyers. I love helping people build wealth through real estate. Let me know, did you happen into your career like me or was it planned out for you?
